Nancy Salguiero, a 32 year old chiropractor and trained childbirth educator plans to deliver her child live on the Internet. Anyone who signs up to her website will be able to see what natural childbirth is like. Salgiero states that she feels it is important for young women to see what normal, natural birth can be like. She has already posted videos of the births of her two other children on her website, but this is the first time that the experience will go live.
I personally think this is revolting. It's not necessary for her to stream her birth live around the world. If women choose to, they'll be able to experience giving birth on their own. There is no need for them to watch another women deliver a baby. It's disgusting to even think about.
Salguiero shouldn't go through with this. She should just experience the birth of her child with her husband, and not worry about showing the rest of the world.
